It has two configurable parameters:

Calculations:

UP = SMA(UpF, Period)
DN = SMA(DnF, Period)

where:

If Price > PrevPrice:

UpF = 1

otherwise:

UpF = 0

If Price < PrevPrice:

DnF = 1

otherwise:

DnF = 0
