Motives Cosmetics should be a Name Brand
Hello, This is Justyna, and have more makeup than I know what to do with, but I have been pretty effing lazy lately when it comes to mix and matching colours. On a regular basis, probabilities are I awakened late and do not have much time to put more than least effort into making my face, so I slap on an eyeshadow, occasionally eyeliner, mascara, and run out the door. Sadly it was not until I received a bunch of Motives makeup to try that I realized how severely I’ve been neglecting one of my only real passions : playing in cosmetics.
Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger is a fairly new line that isn’t enormous, but definitely should be. It is not super costly, and many cosmetics firms don’t get that quality doesn’t need to be at once related with cost. This is not one of those companies. The Pressed Eye Shade ( $12 ) feels literally like velvet.
It picks up on a brush pretty simply, but I just wish to use my pinky finger to mix the colors. I tried on some different shades over the course of a week to get an appreciation of all the colours. They aren’t super-heavy, so it’s possibly not best as a stage makeup brand, but it works pretty well for wearing to parties and such like. You may also mix the colors with a tiny water to get a heavier look. The Kohl Eyeliner ( $14 ) goes on smoothly and also makes a solid base for a liquid liner, if you want to be out for hours at a time and don’t need motives makeup wearing out before you do.
I am routinely not avid on powder foundation at ALL ( it makes my face look dry and gross ), but the Liquid Powder Foundation with SPF fifteen ( $24.95 ) went on smoothly and did not have a cakey finish. While I won’t wear it every day, it’s got great coverage for Sat. Nights and times I’m on camera ( hi-def is a bitch )
Last saturday I was headed to a party, so I thought it’d be lovable to layer their new gloss ( coming directly on the site over the rich Color Lipstick in Venetian Red ( $14 ). I got a huge quantity of compliments, and the partner liked it, so when I awakened the next day still a touch lagered and prepared to wear an exciting outfit for Sun. Funday ( read : tasty breakfast and unlimited mimosas, amen ), I was wearing it again for more oomph.
At last, i have been wearing the Pressed Blush in Runway ( $13.50 ) for the past few days instead of my usual cheek stain. It hasn’t made a giant difference, but that is sort of the point, right? I was wearing it to a latest office party, got a large amount of compliments, I love Motives Cosmetics !
