The custom of giving flowers has been around forever. The tradition actually dates back to the prehistoric times as they have been found in ancient Chinese writings, Egyptian inscriptions and Greek mythology. The custom exploded in the middle ages as part of the courtship process and continues until this day. Today, we send flowers for all occasions and have many options from where to get them. What should you send? Here’s a quick quide:
St. Valentines Day – Roses, Roses, Roses! Nothing more needs to be said except mabye Red.
Birthday – Anything Bright and cheerful. The favorite flower of the recipient is always a perfect choice.
Anniversary – Most anything goes here. Try and match the “personality” of the couple to the flowers. A surprise would be great.

Graduation - Plenty of color. Lilies are an excellent choice, pink, orange and blue would be best.
Housewarming - Something simple. A variety of garden flowers in a simple vase would be best.
